Fearless (Perhaps Foolish) Playoff Predictions For 2006

Now that the draft, free agency and the first set of minicamps have come and gone, teams are close to being set in terms of personnel. The schedule is in place for every team, and this time of year presents the first somewhat realistic opportunity to look ahead. Of course, there could still be player movement, and injuries are always a monkey wrench in terms of gauging which teams are poised for a big year. With all that being said, it’s time for the first set of fearless predictions for the 2006 season, including who will make the playoffs.

AFC East Top Two Finishers: New England and Miami
The Patriots, for the first time in two years, are looking to recapture the title they lost last season. Any team with the combination of Bill Bellichek and Tom Brady has a chance to win it all, and with the Bills and Jets at least a year away, the Pats will win the division. The Dolphins have uncertainty at QB, but also have a “star” coach in Nick Saban and talent all over the field.

AFC North Top Two Finishers: Pittsburgh and Cleveland
Pittsburgh is the defending Super Bowl Champion, and they return most of their team. Their nucleus is young, and Bill Cowher will keep his team hungry. The Browns have a quality coach in Romeo Crennel and a roster that’s a mix of young and veteran talent. The Bengals will take a step back assuming Carson Palmer takes some time to return to form, and the Ravens will be a victim of a tough division.

AFC South Top Two Finishers: Indianapolis and Jacksonville
The Colts will have a Mt. Everest-sized chip on their shoulder this year after a disappointing finish to the 2005 season, and Peyton Manning is as consistent as any QB in history. The Jaguars have a punishing defense and a young nucleus that is a year more experienced.

AFC West Top Two Finishers: Denver and Kansas City
Denver was a few plays from the Super Bowl last season and added star WR Javon Walker in a draft-day trade. The Chiefs have superstar RB Larry Johnson and a quality coach in Herm Edwards who should improve their defense. The Chargers will take a step back with a young QB and the Raiders will be squeezed out by sheer numbers.

Playoff Teams: Patriots, Steelers, Browns, Colts, Broncos, Chiefs
The Dolphins and Jaguars will be left out of the wild card spots. The Dolphins will win their share of games, but until they settle on a QB, they won’t go too far. The Jaguars need a better offense, and with WR Jimmy Smith retiring, those prospects don’t look promising.

NFC East Top Two Finishers: Dallas and New York
The Cowboys lacked one thing last year - a game breaking threat on offense, and that need was more than satisfied with Terrell Owens, who always behaves well in his first year with a new team. The Giants have a stingy defense and a maturing Eli Manning at QB. This is the most competitive division in football, and every team could be worthy of a playoff spot.

NFC North Top Two Finishers: Chicago and Green Bay
The Bears have a dominant defense, and no offense in the division looks to be a threat to that unit. The Packers have Brett Favre back, and he’s going back to the offense that made him a three-time MVP to go along with a beefed up defense that finished last year ranked 7th. The Vikings and Lions are a year away at least.

NFC South Top Two Finishers: Carolina and Tampa Bay
The Panthers were “this” close to the big game last year, and they added a much-needed compliment to WR Steve Smith in Keyshawn Johnson that will help a tough defense. The Buccaneers return largely in tact with a team that made the playoffs last year. The Saints are improving, while the Falcons may need to take a step back before moving forward.

NFC West Top Two Finishers: Seattle and Arizona
The Seahawks are the defending NFC Champions, and they benefit by being in a division that’s mostly in rebuilding mode. The Cardinals have all the pieces in place, and just need to put it all together. The Rams are a year away and learning a new system, and the 49ers are a couple of years from competing for the playoffs.

Playoff Teams: Cowboys, Bears, Packers, Panthers, Seahawks, Cardinals
The Buccaneers and the Giants may be better teams in 2006 than the Packers and Cardinals, but will lose out on the wild card spots because their schedules are brutal, especially when compared to the relatively easy slates that the Packers and Cardinals will enjoy.

Benefits of Working In a Data Center

As the Internet continues to grow and produce large amounts of traffic the need for data centers and data center management increases. This continued growth creates data center jobs and IT careers in the technology field. Data Centers not only provide large hubs for Internet traffic, but it also completes the network infrastructure of most mid-large size companies. Data centers usually house thousands of computers, servers, and technical components. This in itself tells why it is a tremendous benefit to working within a data center. Just the amount of knowledge you can gain while on the job is rewarding enough. Having a data center job puts you on the bleeding edge of technology and hi-tech equipment. By working in a data center you will naturally be more advance than your peers who work in different industries experienced in technology.

Data center jobs consist of many different job types which fall under information technology, such as: system administration, network administration, IT security, computer operations, help desk support, server administration, pc repair, engineering, and so much more. If you ever been to school for a computer-related field or you always had an interest to work with computers then working in a data center should have been at the top of your list. Though, most do not consider data center jobs when looking for a job in the information technology field. This is mainly because data center jobs are merely overlooked. Most individuals consider working for a company or corporation in an industry other than data centers, mainly in a company like where they previously worked, before being technically inclined. Gaining a data center job is exactly why you went to school or aligned yourself within the technology field of work.

Data centers are inhabited with individuals who are fairly intelligent, usually skilled professionals with an educational background. The benefit of surrounding yourself with knowledgeable individuals is that it enhances your own technical aptitude and empowers your keen technical sense. Another benefit to working in a data center is many times the operations are around the clock (24/7), which means you may have the option of being flexible and working flex schedules, at your leisure. The biggest benefit of working in a data center is “stability”. The fact being that so many operations, calculations, and transactions depend solely on data centers - society cannot afford to lose data centers. Data centers will always be around and continue to thrive, so this means data center jobs will never fall short. Even in the wake of economic hardships, data centers still did not take a plunge or lose its clarity. If you are reading this article right now, then more than likely at some point a data center involvement allowed me to deliver this article to you. Data center jobs are for life!

Black Christmas movie review

This festive fright-fest was a nice surprise from what I was originally expecting. This is another horror remake (from the people behind ‘Final Destination’ – great film), but un-like so many others; it did manage to come up trumps; such as ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’ This is a remake of Bob Clarke’s 1974 classic slasher movie, ‘Black Christmas’; which actually came four years before John Carpenter’s ‘Halloween’. Some fans lay claim that it was the original slasher flick.

From the outside, this looks like just another of your basic ‘there’s a psycho hacking up a bunch of pretty girls, who are running up the stairs instead of out of the door,’ and to a certain extent that’s correct, it’s the way this is conveyed which is interesting and enticing to watch.

The story: crazed killer, Billy Lenz, escapes his psychiatric ward and is determined to make it to his childhood home, where he was abused, by Christmas. Problem is, it’s years later and the home is now a Sorority house. It’s Christmas Eve and a who’s who of teen/horror girl stars are there to welcome him, including Melissa (Michelle Trachtenberg , ‘Buffy the vampire slayer’ fame), Heather (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, ‘Final Destination 3’), Dana (Lacey Chabert, ‘Mean Girls’) and Kelli (Katie Cassidy, ‘When a stranger calls’ remake.)

This movie is actually pretty good, it has a constant feeling of being watched that runs right through it and adds a sparkle to the scares, and the tension is kept high. The actresses, although spouting some awful lines at times, also say some good ones. The acting is good, and because most of the leading ladies are stars, and most of them horror stars, the audience doesn’t guess which one is going to make it to the rolling credits. The story-line builds well, and there is a mounting tension, as the killer first phones the girls, and then starts to do away with them.

A similar storyline to the original ‘Halloween’, with a killer coming home for the holidays, there are also many similar P.O.V shots of the killer, watching the girls throughout the house. The Christmas theme bleeds in nicely with the plot, and it comes across in places (especially, the flash-backs to Billy Lenz’s childhood) like something, director, Tim Burton, would dream up. The film gets darker and darker as we move through it, with some very violent scenes, and the music by Shirley Walker is great; capturing horror and Christmas all in one twisted melody. Also, the use of red and green lighting throughout (owed to Christmas) is very cool, and creates a great atmosphere.

Due to it being set in a Sorority house, and this no longer being 1974, some of the dialogue just doesn’t cut it. I can’t imagine many of these girls’ staying in the house with a crazed serial killer, just because they can’t find their ‘sorority sister,’ believable in 2007 – sad, but true. There is, unfortunately, the obligatory shower scene, but it’s used for scares, not thrills, and so works.

Right from the start you can tell, this isn’t your usual run of the mill slasher, it actually has a back story, and we do find ourselves caring for some of the characters, for example, Kelli, played by Katie Cassidy is great; plus if you hated ‘Dawn’ in ‘Buffy the vampire slayer’ – you are gonna love this movie.

The best guys movies.

5 Ways To Boost Word Of Mouth With Your Website

Why you should focus on your word-of-mouth advertising.

One of the biggest reasons people don't buy is lack of trust. Your product or service can be astounding, but if prospects don't trust you, they won't buy. A word-of-mouth referral comes with a high degree of trust compared to other advertising methods. The more trust your prospect has in you, the easier it is to sell.

So why not invest in your word of mouth advertising? Why not make it easier for people to refer you? Well this is where your web site comes in!

Here are 5 ways to use your web site to boost your word of mouth advertising:

1. Tell all your word-of-mouth advertisers about your web site.
Often, a business will either put up their web site for the first time or make significant updates and not tell anyone. People who can potentially refer you business ought to be aware of your web site. So when you put up a web site or make significant updates, let everyone know about it.

2. Get your web site on all your points of contact.
This will help spread the word about your web site. In addition to putting your web site name on brochures and business cards, put it on the not-so-obvious places like your emails, voice mail greeting, and customer receipts. The more times people hear about your web site, the more they will share it when telling people about you.

3. Put your referral program on your web site.
Having a page on your web site that explains your referral program will help others be more effective at sending leads your way. On this page, make it clear how to refer business to you and what kind of business you are looking for.

4. Put your special offers on your site.
Special offers are good for getting prospects to take action. They also can make referring people to you easier. For example, instead of saying, "My friend Joe is a plumber, he can help you," a referrer can say, "My friend Joe is a plumber, go to his web site, and you can get 10% off!" After you put your offers on your web site, let the people who will refer you know about them.

5. Give free information on your web site.
Free information is a good way to make referring people to your web site easy to do. It can be as easy as saying, "Oh, go check out Jen's web site. There's a lot of good free advice there." Everyone wants good free advice. Let everyone who may refer you business know about the free information on your web site.

Wouldn't it be great if people who used to say, "Hey, my friend Ann is a graphic designer, umm, I have her card somewhere." can now say, "Hey, my friend Ann is a graphic designer, visit her site at www.anndesign.com so you can get free design samples?"
In conclusion, use your web site to boost your word of mouth referrals. By doing so, you will attract prospects that have a higher degree of trust, and you will have an easier time closing sales.

Lose Weight The Natural Way While You Sleep

You probably didn't know it, but one of the best times to lose weight is while you sleep. That's because the human body is designed by nature to repair itself during the hours we are sleeping.

Our bodies use sleep to repair and strengthen our muscles, joints and other parts that get tired and damaged through use and exertion during waking hours.

This restorative process uses energy to rebuild lean muscle mass and to help rebuild other kinds of body tissue. That is worth repeating -- this rebuilding process uses energy -- and if the rebuilding process is running smoothly and efficiently, that energy comes from places in our body where energy is stored -- from fat.

In other words, the body rebuilds tissue, organs, bone, and lean muscle by burning fat.

Several things about this process are worth noting. They have an important bearing on how efficiently it works.

**Collagen is very important to the body repair process

Collagen is the most common protein found in our bodies. It is the main component of our skin, nails, bones, cartilage, and connective tissue and is found in all of the body organs. Cartilage is the cushion and shock absorber between joints, and the reason we stay flexible and mobile. Healthy cartilage is constantly being regenerated by the body naturally and this process contributes to keeping us youthful and flexible.

As we age, our bodies lose the ability to produce collagen at sufficient levels needed to support the deep restorative sleep processes that our bodies are designed to perform. This can be a major contributor that leads to a premature aged appearance and can definitely affect our flexibility and mobility. It stands to reason that a collagen supplement combined with other natural ingredients can have a dramatic effect in better supporting the deep restorative sleep process. This in turn can allow the body to experience more energy, build more lean muscle, and burn more fat.

**Amino acids enhance the regeneration process

The rebuilding process is also influenced by the efficiency of the amino acids normally used for this purpose. As part of the rebuilding process, amino acids help maintain lean muscle mass and allow the body to more readily consume fat for energy. This contributes to weight loss.

Again, as we age, our body's production of efficient amino acids is reduced. A supplement such as L-Carnitine is a special amino acid that enhances the body's normal function and helps your body convert excess fat into readily available fuel. During deep sleep, these special amino acids work like a natural "turbo charger" to help your body repair, preserve and build lean muscle while burning stored fat to supply the needed energy.

**Not eating before sleeping is important

Since the body uses deep sleep for the restoration process, it is important when using a collagen supplement not to eat three hours before going asleep. This is because we don't want nutrient competitiion between undigested food and the collagen supplement special nutrient formula itself. If the body has to concern itself with digestion it will not absorb the collagen formula properly. Therefore your body will not be performing its natural restorative process while you sleep, but rather will be concerned with undigested foods and will actually be storing fat from the continuing digestive process rather than burning fat as the energy for the deep sleep restorative process.

This tends to put us into a "diet circle of frustration". The less time your body spends in deep restful sleep (without competing digestion), the less time it has to restore its natural health, and the less fat that is burned in support of this natural rebuilding process. Now we understand the key connection between deep restorative sleep and weight loss many times goes hand in hand with our overall health.

Reducing or eliminating the intake of food three hours before bedtime allows the body to use its natural fat reserves for metabolic fuel during the deep restorative sleep cycle.

**Collagen weight loss program build on this process

A natural collagen product such as Lose and Snooze enables this natural process to once again help people lose weight. Lose and Snooze consists of a blend of Collagen, L-Carnitine and Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera). The Collagen contributes to a more youthful appearance, greater flexibility, and all round mobility and strength.

In addition to all of this, most importantly, Collagen allows the deep sleep necessary to enable your body's natural metabolic functions to occur, like when we were children. L-Carnitine promotes the burning of fat in support of the natural rebuilding, restorative process that occurs during deep sleep. The Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) contains numerous nutrients and amino acids that help create a healthy environment in support of your body's own ability to create its own collagen, in addition to the remarkable Lose and Snooze formula itself.

Thousands of satisfied users of the collagen weight loss program have reported that using the liquid formula in combination with an empty stomach before bedtime, has been beneficial to their health and has helped them naturally lose weight.

And because the collagen weight loss program only helps lose excess fat (while rebuilding muscle), it can be used by anybody -- not just people wanting to lose weight. It has also been beneficial to folks who want to enjoy better sleep, build lean muscle, improve their appearance and to reshape their body while maintaining their proper healthy weight.

The Real Big Picture Around Options Backdating

If you take some time to think about the big picture story around options backdating, here are some patterns that emerge. Each is valid, and has some merit, but it gives you some reason why the general public is still not interested in the story and outraged by it, but the media and some institutional investors are.

1. CEO and Executive pay: Realistically speaking this is a weak argument at best. CEO pay has always been big and its getting bigger because lot of these executives have big risk jobs and are responsible for millions or billions of $ and thousands of employees. Add to this the legal ramifications of doing a bad job, their job is not easy. Fortune’s Rick Kirkland wrote a piece on CEO pay and its an interesting read, but still does not offer any solutions.

2. Full Disclosure of pay for executives: SEC chairman Christopher Cox has stated full disclosure guidelines will be issued soon, and the “perks” that executives get do add up, but still this argument is also not very strong. There will always be the CEO parachute deals, and tax perks etc. Again we fail to see this being the big change force.

3. Better internal controls: Most companies before SOX did not have the best internal checks and balances processes for ensuring these “issues” were tracked, reported and managed. Accounting, Finance and Legal were mostly “side roles” to Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Engineering. Lack of internal controls is an issue for most companies that they need to fix. Its in our opinon this is a good but not the big “a-ha” compelling argument.

4. Poorly stated guidelines around gray areas: That’s why they are called gray areas in the first place. Most auditors and legal firms use “judgement” around these areas such as grant and enforcement dates for options. The SEC’s has stated they will have better guidelines around summer ‘06. This is also not a compelling argument for backdating not getting a bigger attention and outrage from the public.

5. World cup Soccer: (grin) - We made this up. Newsweek had a piece about why this time the world cup soccer has more attention of Americans. This is by far the most compelling argument why the general public does not care much about the options backdating story.

Using Solar Power Energy To Help The Environment

Using solar power energy around the house is a good way to help the environment. There are huge benefits in doing this, as it will help the environment as well as reducing your utility bills.

It is quite easy to start on your own solar project at home and make a difference to the amount of energy that you use. The price of fossil fuel energy is always on the increase so many people are considering using alternative sources of energy at home. This initiative is supported in many countries by their governments. This support is given in the form of tax rebates and incentives to use solar energy.

The aim is to reduce carbon emissions into our environment thus reduce polluting the air. This can be significantly helped if more people try to use alternative methods to power their homes. The biggest energy usage goes towards warming up the house. Making a change to power the central heating using solar energy can make a huge difference.

Switching to a successful alternative energy source takes a little research. Firstly, you have to make sure that your home has sufficient sunlight during the day; most homes in the States qualify to switch to using the sun as a source of energy. The solar panel has to be placed where it will get the most sun over a year. To know this, you will need to seek the advice of a professional who will conduct a site obstacle survey.

To help use reduce the cost of your utility bills and be environmentally friendly, you can consider making other changes too alongside your solar power project. Installing better installation for your home will reduce the amount of energy you use daily to keep it warm. You can also buy energy saving light bulbs for the home.

Many people start by making their own power generator. You should be able get all the information to do this on the Internet or your local green store. It is simpler than you think as you can buy all the parts that you need. It will come with instructions and will only take a few hours to set up. Remember to start with a small solar panel and you can move up later on.

A small solar panel can gather enough energy from the sun to power many little appliances at home such as a camera, hair dryer etc. If you are looking to do this and make a change there is a lot of information on solar power energy on the Internet.

Follow the link and read more about solar power energy. Sign up for my newsletter at http://solarpowersystemsforhomesinfo.com/solar-power-signup/ and receive a report on "solar power energy". Table Time For Your Kids

When your baby turns into the toddler stage, you will be facing with a more active and hyper child. You can see him roaming around the house, climbing the

stairs, and dodging obstacles in his way, all the while holding onto a piece of food and munching on it from time to time.

Getting your toddler to dine with you on the table requires a lot of practice and patience for him to be able to absorb all the lessons about table eating.

Transitioning your toddler to eating at the dining table is no easy task---especially during the first few attempts. Here are some strategies that can help

make for a much smoother transition.

* Invite your child to the table

Ease the child into the practice of eating at the dining table by introducing the concept as an exciting and interesting one. Take your child by the hand

while gently telling him that the rest of the family members would all be glad if he can join them at the dining table.

* Turn off and keep away distractions

Turning off the television and keeping the toys help prevent the child from diverting his attention to other things and concentrate on his food instead. Make

him focus solely on his food and not on other things.

* Show consistency in rule setting

Know when to draw the line between exploring food attributes (taste, texture, consistency, etc.) and playing with food in an inappropriate manner. Experts

say that at this stage, some of them will definitely play with their food, but parents should gently but firmly explain to the toddler that food belongs on

his plate or in his mouth.

* Demonstrate and articulate proper table manners

Modeling helps a toddler learn all about proper table manners. But parents should take caution against using negative statements when teaching the child

about how to eat properly and other meal time rules. What you want your child to know are the things he can and should do at the table, such as chewing and

swallowing his food before talking, putting food on his plate, or holding his cup with both hands.

* Create an attractive dining table setting

Entice your child to eat at the table by setting it up in a fun way. You can use child-friendly and attractive plates and utensils in fun colors and designs,

especially if it's something he is most interested in such as his favorite cartoon characters. The child will sure to enjoy eating with his favorite

character. The same goes to the baby wipes and bibs used to wipe his mouth after eating.

Lastly, dining at the table with your toddler will always be a fun and memorable shared experience, but it really helps to be realistic about it. Toddlers

are generally messy eaters, but for as long as they do not persist in doing something undesirable to their food - such as spitting or deliberately throwing

it - give them many enriching opportunities to explore and have fun with the food.

Golf Clubs - Tips for Buying a New Set

You've been thinking about purchasing a set of clubs for a while and then magically, an offer appears in your email box offering an amazing price for a set of high quality clubs. You're ready to purchase them based on price alone because it's a top quality brand name. I recommend you think again.

It's a common myth that if a club costs more, it will improve your game. But just like having a Porche doesn't make you a better driver, a better club doesn't make you a better golfer. Think about it: are drivers really worth $650 to $1100? Are a set of irons worth $1,500 to $3,000? If you ask the manufacturers who spend millions of dollars trying to promote their clubs, they'll say yes. The fact is that paying higher prices does not lower one's handicap, but buying a properly chosen club will do that, even if it ends up being a less expensive one.

Once you have achieved a decent level of play (which I understand means different things to differnet golfers), you can then consider purchasing custom clubs with proper fitting. And even then, I recommend you go for value rather than show.

Below are some tips to consider to help choose the best set of clubs for you and your game:

1. The shaft is the axle of the club. The better the shaft, the better the club. The shaft flex has a major effect on the feel of a golf club and a medium effect on distance. If you do not know your speed swing, some local golf shops can measure it for you.

3. Shallow face metalwoods (such as Adams Tight Lies) are some of the bigggest game improvement clubs available. These clubs are easy to hit and extremely accurate due to their low center of gravity. Great for golfers of any level.

4. Beginners and novice players choosing a set make-up should consider eliminating the 2 and 3 irons from their set, replacing those hard to hit irons with a 5,7 or 9 wood, preferably shallow face models. Again, like the tip above illustrates, the shallow face metalwoods are an easy way to demonstrably improve your game.

5. Unless you shope at Big & Tall or Small & Short, all golfers should use standard length clubs. Standard length clubs allow players to hit the ball on center a higher percentage of the time, thus increasing distance and accuracy. In recent years, light weight titanium driver heads and Ultra-light graphite shafts have extended driver playing lengths from a standard 43-431/2" to 44-46". This is good news and bad news. The good news is, when you increase length, you increase distance. The longer the club, the more club head speed generated and thus more distance. The bad news though, is that the longer the club the more difficult it is to control, resulting in less accuracy. It is not worth sacrificing accuracy for the minimal amount of distance gained past 44". Keep driver playing lengths to 44" or less.

Hopefully these tips will help you to purchase the best golf clubs for your game, your experience and your size. Remember that the price and the clubs don't make the golfer, but practice does!

Caring For The Indoor Bonsai Tree

The indoor Bonsai Tree is a beautiful addition to any home or office, and once you learn how to care for these unique trees, they are a great hobby.
Indoor Bonsai Trees are actually a miniature replica of a natural outdoor tree. The cultivation of the indoor Bonsai Tree first began in China and Japan centuries ago, but today growing the Bonsai Tree has become a popular hobby in many parts of the world.
One of the best aspects of the indoor Bonsai Tree is that it only becomes more beautiful with time with the right care. The indoor Bonsai Tree must receive enough sunlight without being exposed to temperatures that are too high or too low. If you live in a fairly mild climate you may want to place your tree on a patio or porch when temperatures permit.

If you live in a climate that reaches extreme temperatures, you may have to place your indoor Bonsai Tree in a room that receives plenty of light, but not right next to the window.
Watering your indoor Bonsai Tree is another important element to properly caring for it. Your tree should be watered when the soil begins to appear dry, and it is very important that you never let the soil get too dry.
Using the proper soil for the type of indoor Bonsai Tree that you have is also an essential element to caring for your tree. Always ensure that you have the right soil when planting or replanting your tree.

The correct use of liquid fertilizer may also determine how healthy your indoor Bonsai Tree will be. To guarantee that you are using the right fertilizer and applying it correctly, seek advice for the type of tree that you have.
For the indoor Bonsai Tree to grow properly, it is extremely important that you trim it at the appropriate times. Tropical and sub tropical indoor bonsai trees have to be trimmed throughout the year. Not only do the branches need to be trimmed but also the roots. Nevertheless, as different plants grow at diverse rates, you will have to assess your tree’s growth and change the trimming accordingly.
With proper care, your indoor Bonsai Tree can grow to be beautiful and healthy. Once you get the hang of caring for your Bonsai Tree, you may even want to add several more to your collection.

Best Electric Shaver Online

Do not just go and grab the cheapest electric shaver that you could find, either in the market or online. You should make a decision that would help you find the perfect shaver for you at a reasonable price that will give you your money's worth.

Choosing a shaver is a crucial decision that needs to be made. There are two factors that you need to consider in choosing the best shaver; first, determine the type of facial skin you have. There are some shavers that are typically made for each type of skin. One type of shaver has different ways on how you should shave. The shaving process that you usually do with your old shaver may sometimes not be effective for your new shaver. Second, what do you like your facial hair to appear? If you have a simple mustache, then you can go find something that has a trimmer at the back end of the shaver. It is important to know what kind of outcomes you would like; this is the first step in choosing the right shaver for you. Try to check the cutting systems, how do the blades or razors affect your skin? Will it give you a smoother shave without taking too much of your time? Try to ask these questions to yourself.

You should also take into consideration how long should the electric shaver be charged before you could use it, and how long will it last. Make sure that you choose a shaver that can charge quickly, yet give you more shaving hours. This is significant most especially for those men who do not have enough time to wait for the shaver to be fully recharged - and most of these men are on the go, always. And of course, we should learn how we could clean the shavers. There are some shavers wherein the razors can be manually removed and cleaned with plain water. You may want to choose this type as well, since it would save you much more time. As we all know, not properly cleaning the razor would just make the shaver function poorly.

Finally, you have chosen the shaver that you think would suit your needs. The last thing that you need to know is how long can the shaver be replaced for factory defects? Choosing a shaver that offers warranty should be taken into consideration as well.

With these things putting in mind, you can expect to get the right shaver that will suit all of your needs.

How to Find the Top Online Nursing Program

If you want to know how to find the top online nursing program, the answer can best be summed up in one word: research. Why is this? There is not one top nursing program for everyone. Some people are interested in obtaining entry-level designations, such as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Others are looking for masters programs in nursing or doctorates, both of which are available online. However, no matter what type of degree you are seeking, the following information can help you determine how to find the top online nursing program for you.

Ratings and Rankings

If you are interested in a preliminary search, one option is to use the school ranking information provided by companies who provide this information. One of these is U.S. News and World Report, which conducts school research and provides much of this information free on its website at http://www.usnews.com/usnews/rankguide/rghome.htm. Another option for ranking information is provided by the National Institutes of Health at http://www.nih.gov/.

Accreditation

Any program you choose should be accredited. The two organizations that accredit nursing programs are The National League of Nursing Accreditation Commission (http://www.nlnac.org/) and The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

NCLEX Preparation

Another issue to consider in how to find the top online nursing program is whether or not, and how well, the program prepares you for the NCLEX exam. State boards to determine how well a person is prepared for nursing practice use the NCLEX exam, or the National Council Licensure Examination. This exam is taken on computer, and if you pass a certain number of questions correctly during the first part of the exam, you will pass. If not, you have an opportunity to continue testing to demonstrate your knowledge. If you fail the exam, you can retake it after a certain amount of time. However, how to find the top online nursing program, which includes ample research into a program, will lead you to a program that will prepare you for this exam.

Beginners guide to starting an online business

Today the Internet is much more than a simple document storage/retrieval system. It is a great vehicle for anyone who wants to setup an online business with little or no money and a want-it-now attitude.

I have a programming background but it was not my technical know-how that allowed me succeed in this area but my trials and errors as an online business owner.

I have tried many opportunities and techniques but it was through my failures I've learnt and consolidated a simple technique to succeed as an online business owner.

I can assure you that, although you will need to acquire some basic technical skills, your success will depend not on your programming or typing skills but more on what you have between your ears.

Below is my list of what you'll need and have to do, to succeed as an online business owner.

1. Have a dream and persistence. If you haven't got a dream and the persistence to follow it through then you will fail, guarantied.

2. Have a mentor. Find someone who has gained the experience in this field. Beg, crawl, wash their car, do whatever takes to become their student. Listen to their advice and learn from their failures and successes. You'll save yourself a lot of time, effort and money not to mention heartache and disappointment.

3. Find a hobby, a 'pet' project, something you are interested in and would do without payment or rewards. If it gets you excited, keeps you awake at nights thinking about it, it will provide you with opportunities to make money from it too. For example, once you have a project/activity that you live for, be it surfing, stamp collection, video games, mobile phones, you could start a local club. Once the club is established you can start a club website. Once the website is up and running you can introduce products to promote the club and your project/activity. You get the picture? You probably have seen the film 'Pay it forward'. Well, you can use the same principle in establishing an online business. Give something valuable first and then you'll get your opportunities to reap your rewards.

4. Promote and automate your project website. Once you completed step 3 above and your site is up and running you want to be able to promote your club site to 'outsiders'. You don't have to get technical and bogged down in programming or writing strings of HTML code. There are brilliant software out there to do a lot of 'skilled' tasks with the push of a button (both free and commercial products). Learn to use them well! Promoting your website should be your priority from now on. Get as many people to come to the site as you can and automate this activity. Start a newsletter to keep in touch with your members and provide them with free advice, tips and news on the subject of your project/activity. And again, automate this too. Get software to automatically distribute your newsletters and automatically sort any emails you get in reply to your posts. Set up autoresponders signup new members and to respond to email queries; automate, automate, automate...

5. Once you have enough members and you have an established, loyal group of followers, you can introduce your promotional products and other services that you now want to sell and make money from as a business. You'll have to be gentle and do this bit by bit. You may also find it useful to have another, separate, commercial site for this purpose and simply direct your members there from your 'signature files' or 'letterheads' you send out as part of your club newsletter. By now you should have enough experience in setting up and running a website from step 3 above. If you did have a separate commercial site you run a smaller risk of offending 'purist' club members.

6. Review the operation of your site, experiment and test the effect of site layout, content, headlines etc. Review and look for opportunities to further automate anything that you can to make your site 'self-sustaining'. If you do this you should be able to get yourself more free time to actually enjoy your hobby/project and to go out and look for more new material (advice, tips and news) that you can send out to you members. Once you have a website running and are making money out of it, it is very easy to forget that without new content and looking after your members your business will not survive. So make sure that the time you have freed up by automating your processes, you put back into searching for and providing fresh content and keep on provide a service to your members and keep in mind that they are members because they share your enthusiasm for the hobby and not for your business. Find a gentle balance between that hobby and your commercial interests.

Wishing you success in your new adventure,
Ference

So Why Hypnosis

So how can hypnotherapy help you with your problem?

People can find themselves looking for hypnosis therapy for a number of reasons. Perhaps you have a bad habit such as smoking that you are trying to break. Or maybe you want to loose weight, tried all the diets and nothing has helped.

Another reason may be because of a relationship breakdown, or jealousy in a relationship.

All these are common reasons as to why someone may be looking for a hypnotherapist to help them with their everyday issues.

Hypnotherapy is not a new concept, infact; it has been around since the beginning of time. Some animals put themselves in a trance like state when they go into hibernation and are able to go without nourishment for long periods of time.

Hypnotherapy became more understood by physicians around the 19th century.

It is true to say that not everyone can be hypnotised. Research shows that people with the ability to perceive what is going on around them and recognise changes in their own awareness may block themselves from being helped through therapy.

Others can find that they are easily hypnotised. This is because they are more able to enter a trance like state and respond better to suggestions through their subconciousness.

Hypnotherapy has also been tested along with modern medicines to analyse people’s different responses to treatment.

On a number of occasions, groups of people who are receiving the same medical treatment have been separated and hypnosis therapy has been given to one section of the group to see what affects may occur.

More often than not, those who received hypnosis therapy felt less pain and anxiety and made a speedier recovery, which in turn, saved costs on medical treatment.

It is unfortunate that most people’s first introduction to hypnotherapy is stage hypnosis which gives the idea that hypnotherapy is where someone puts you under a spell and controls your movements causing you to perform in front of an audience some kind of bizarre act.

This is not what hypnotherapy is all about.

When a person looks to a hypnotherapist to help them with their problem, although they will put in a very relaxed state, they are always going to be aware of what is happening around them.

Hypnotherapy has helped lots of people with various different conditions, psychological as well as having a positive effect on their behaviour and has been effectively demonstrated through medical research.

Hypnosis has helped people overcome common and uncommon issues that people are faced with in their everyday lives, offering a release from pressures and conditions that seem to have a hold over them either by bad habits such as smoking or psychological issues such as jealousy.

Whatever the issue is that you may be facing, hypnosis can have a positive effect and help you overcome these issues.

Flat Roofing Materials

It’s a fact that your roof is one of the most important parts of your house and is the one thing that provides the building structure, the building occupants and the building contents with protection from the elements. Many roofs are in a state of disrepair but homeowners ignore this until the roof gets worse or until the weather gets worse. With regular maintenance and the early identification and fixing of any problems you can usually avoid the big problems that have equally big price tags attached to them. Regular maintenance in this way will also help extend the life of your roof.

Selecting flat roofing materials.

Flat roofs have extra difficulties associated with them. Because they do not slope rainwater does not automatically run down the roof and drain off. It is absolutely vital that flat roofing materials are as water resistant and water tight as possible to prevent serious damage to the roof itself and to the rest of the building and it’s contents. New types of flat roofing material are being used and while these offer more in the way of protection they are also more expensive as a general rule. There are still three main types of flat roofing materials that are used on a regular basis on new and older houses.

Built up flat roofing materials.

Built up roofing is basically just that. Built up roofing consists of laying down several layers of tar and water resistant materials and then covered with gravel. This is quite an old technique but the introduction of new waterproof materials has seen the strength and durability of this technique increase. The gravel acts as a good fire resistant layer and can be made to look very attractive. It is usually the cheapest of the flat roofing materials available, however, it is very heavy and may require strengthening of the joists. It is also impractical to use on residential houses that are being lived in because it smells terribly. The gravel itself can clog gutters and other vital aspects of water drainage.

Modified Bitumen flat roofing.

Modified bitumen is another stalwart in the world of flat roofing materials. Once upon a time it was necessary to use torchdown techniques that involved burning the roll of material onto the roof, however it is now possible to get adhesive varieties, thus cutting out the potential fire hazard that is sometimes associated. The mineral surface that is used to create modified bitumen can be created in light colors, effectively reflecting the heat and sun. This will cut down on your energy bills during the summer months, and it can even be installed by any avid (and competent) do it yourself fanatic.

Rubber membrane.

Rubber membrane is another method of coating your flat roof. As far as flat roofing materials go it is durable and resistant to general wear and tear. Leaks are easy to find and repair, but the cost is really quite high. The standard black rubber does not reflect heat and paying for a lighter membrane will cost you more, however, it is quick to fit and will cause little disruption to your house life during the process.
